These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, products, and services operated by LawBandit Lab, including LawBandit Manual and LawBandit Notes (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, purchasing access, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

LawBandit Lab is a research lab for AI in legal practice and education. LawBandit Manual is a paid professional reference on the use of generative AI in legal practice, covering topics such as ethics, research, drafting, tools, and firm implementation. LawBandit Notes is a separate study platform for law students. We may add, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time.

2. Accounts & Registration

To access certain parts of the Service, you must create an account using email and password or a Google account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at admin@lawbandit.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Purchases & Payments

The Manual is available through an individual, one-time license fee that grants access to the content then available on the platform, or through an enterprise subscription billed per seat on an annual basis. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge the payment method you provide.

Prices are subject to change at any time and without notice for future purchases; changes will not retroactively affect a license or subscription you have already paid for. Enterprise subscriptions renew annually unless cancelled through the billing portal or by contacting us prior to the renewal date. Except where required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase, all payments are non-refundable.

4. Free Access Grants

From time to time, LawBandit Lab may issue free, time-limited access grants to individuals at our sole discretion (for example, through an invitation link). Free access grants may be modified, revoked, or expire without notice and do not guarantee continued or future access to the Service.

5. License & Acceptable Use

Subject to these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal or internal professional use (or, for enterprise seats, the internal use of your organization). You may not:

• Share, resell, sublicense, or redistribute your account credentials or access.
• Copy, scrape, mirror, or reproduce Service content for redistribution.
• Use automated means to access or extract content from the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

6. No Legal Advice

The Manual and any other content provided through the Service is for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney familiar with your specific circumstances and jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for your use of any tools, workflows, or information described in the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all text, graphics, logos, and content, is owned by LawBandit Lab or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted above, no rights are transferred to you.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, without refund, if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or fail to pay applicable fees. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LawBandit Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable local law.
